A Young Offenders Institute serving Kent and the surrounding areas (157 young men aged 15-18) is looking for Supply Teachers to start as soon as possible. They require experienced and qualified Supply Teachers who want to help these troubled young people, seeing beyond their behaviour and find ways to connect with them and teach them. The successful Supply Teachers will be overseeing the delivery of an array of subjects including numeracy, literacy, PSHE and ICT. Through education you will help them rebuild their lives, in order to provide them with a second chance. All appointments are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau, dated within the last 6 months, or a new one will need to be undertaken, and necessary security checks processed.
